The Back Story
Tera Maiâ„¢ is a healing system born out of Reiki by its founder Kathleen Milner. This particular type of Reiki and Seichem was given to Kathleen directly from Buddha and all who have receive initiations and attunetent s to Tera Maiâ„¢ must live by the Reiki principles may use this trademark. Tera Maiâ„¢ Golden Reiki & Seichem is a form of hands-on energy healing and is 8 times stronger than Reiki and Seichem alone. Melanie was very privileged to be reinitiated into Golden Reiki by Kathleen Milner herself in 2022.
Reiki (ray-key) means ‘universal Life Energy’ in Japanese and is also a word to describe a system of natural healing. Reiki was founded in the early 20th century by Dr Mikao Usui which evolved because of his research, dedication, and experience.
This energy can be channelled by those who receive an initiation or atonements to Reiki for the benefit of themselves and others. The practice is taught by Reiki/ Seichem masters/Teachers who have been trained in the tradition passed on in person from master to student.
What is Reiki and Seichem?
The world we live in is energy and support, nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy is uninterrupted you have balance and harmony for all and we experience a sense of wellbeing.
Reiki and Seichem are healing systems dating back to ancient Egypt (Seichem) and ancient Japan (Reiki). Seichem is more powerful than Reiki because Reiki only uses the elements of Earth (Reiki), Whereas Seichem uses all four, Water (Sophi-el), Fire (Sakara) and Air/spirit (Angelic light) and Earth (Reiki).
In Tera Mai™ Earth energy (Reiki) has characteristics of grounding and foundation which is fundamental to all other elements. Fire energy (Sakara) works on the aura: the electromagnetic field surrounding the body and supports transformation. Sakara transforms blockages and resistances in the physical, mental emotional within the electromagnetic field causing you distress and unease. Water energy (Sophi-El) is both gentle and persistent. It reaches deep within the emotional body and also opens the heart to receive love, feel compassion and aids healing by re-establishing the feminine-masculine balance. In addition to emotional healing energy, Sophi-El enhances the healer’s psychic awareness. Air/Spirit (Angelic Light) this has two rays and works with both elements of Air and Angelic light. Air expresses the qualities of communication. Angelic Light (Akasha) and work with the energy field that surrounds us.
The Reiki and Seichem Treatment

This is a process that anyone can enjoy throughout their lives. Reiki and Seichem can be used along side other conventional or complementary treatments and often to provide emotional support during recovery.
This non – invasive therapy is simple where the client remains fully clothed and either lies down on the couch or sits in a chair and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of positions either on the body or just above if you do not like touch. There is no Massage involved, this is a whole person treatment. Each session can take between 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the client’s needs.it must be said at this stage, Reiki and Seichem practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not predict any specific outcome from the treatment. If you are concerned about your symptoms, you should speak with your doctor.
How will the treatment feel?

Each person experiences Reiki and Seichem differently depending on the individual needs at the time meaning no two treatments are alike.
Clients may or may not feel sensations during a treatment. Some feel sensations of heat, cold, tingling, or seeing colours, whilst others can feel an emotional response indication of shift are taking place and allowing balance within the body. Beyond all doubt, this is a treatment that is different for each person and only once you have experienced it will you believe its potential in achieving harmony with in.
This safe and soothing treatment is suitable for any age even children, The relaxing nature of Reiki and Seichem can be helpful to many, especially at difficult times in our lives when we feel overwhelmed or disconnected and lost both emotional and spiritually due to a sense of isolation.
Who can receive Reiki and Seichem treatments
Anyone can receive Both Reiki and Seichem Treatments. Due to its gentle and relaxing treatments is wonderful for Pregnant women and their unborn child to relax before the big day. Children respond well and usually love Reiki and Seichem helping them to relax and reconnect. When working with Children the parent or care giver must be present in the therapy room throughout the treatment. Children’s sessions are usually shorter than an adult session. Animals respond well to Reiki and Seichem healing and find it relaxing and soothing. This can be delivered from a distance to for any animals who can be unsettled by new experiences. Reiki and Seichem is being made available for end-of-life support as it can be a great comfort and helps promote a sense of peace and acceptance for the dying and their families.

How Many sessions would I needs?
As each session is very different and depending on why you are wishing to have a healing session will all depend on the number of sessions and the outcome. A single session may be sufficient, or you may require monthly or seasonal sessions. It maybe you have a long-term emotional issue, and a series of session would be beneficial. This will all be discussed with you practitioner within your full consultation. The rule of thumb is if you’re finding this beneficial and helpful, it’s a good idea to continue the treatment allowing you to stay grounded.
Contra-indications

There are no contra-indications with Reiki and Seichem. Both systems are non-invasive treatments that can be delivered with in many settings including distance healing where you can receive Reiki and Seichem via zoom and WhatsApp or via a phone call as my voice will be the connection for your treatment. Reiki and Seichem treatments do not require any special equipment which makes this treatment incredibly versatile and effective to all.
Pricing

Pricing is set by the time allocated for each session as these sessions are individual to each person. Within the consultation process the whole session will be explained and you will then be advised on the correct session time.
Each session will either be 60 minute or 90 minute sessions, there may be a requirement for longer sessions if you are wishing to work on a complex situation or wish to make a real change. There is an option of 2 hour and ½ day sessions. This will be discussed with in your consultation as you may benefit from a collaboration of treatments and techniques to provide the optimum results. Children’s sessions are usually 45 minutes to 1 hours this will also be discussed with in the consultation with the parent or care giver by phone prior to the appointment.
